Pet supplements are used to increase the amount of experience gained per kill. See: Pet List for a specific pet's supplement |
General Information
- There are 14 different types, lettered A through N
- Each type has a regular (Mark I) version and an advanced (Mark II) version
- Pet types are assigned to a specific supplement type and are not random
- Found on the Bazaar under Misc|Pharmeceuticals
- Supplements increase your pet's XP gain
- Supplements do NOT directly increase or decrease your loyalty gain
- Each use grants a 15 minutes experience buff
- The current experience buff is lost if
- The pet is stored
- The pet dies
Mark I
- Usable from pet CL 1 through pet CL 74
- Gives between 200 to 500 XP point bonus per kill [edit request]
- Stack size between # and # [edit request]
Mark II
- Usable from CL 75 through CL 90
- Gives between 100 to 250 XP point bonus per kill [edit request]
- Stack size between # and # [edit request]
How to Use
- Inventory: double-clicking
- Inventory: radial (right click) the supplement and select Use
- Toolbar: dragging to a toolbar slot and manually clicking
- Toolbar: dragging to a toolbar slot and using a Macro: /ui action toolbarSlot##
Recommendations
A pet's combat levels are gained based upon experience points. A pet's loyalty level is gained by a number of factors, including number of kills and happiness.
Pet supplements increase experience gain, which causes it to increase in combat levels, but not in loyalty levels. Many people prefer to have their pets reach the maximum loyalty level of Best Friend Forever (BFF) by the time their pet reaches CL90. Other's would rather try to earn BFF with a CL90 pet.
If you want to have your pet reach BFF before it reaches CL90
- Keep your pet ecstatic whenever possible
- Happiness affects the rate of loyalty gain
- Use pet supplements from CL1 to CL74
- Do NOT use Mark II pet supplement for CL75 until your pet reaches BFF
Crafting
- Crafted by munitions trader
- Uses weapon, droid, misc crafting tool and station
- Uses weaponsmith experimentation and assembly
- During crafting can experiment to increase
- Number of uses which range from 14 to 32 [edit request]

- Can be run in a factory
- Mark I
- Require a Chemical Reactive Unit crafted by a domestics trader (chef)
- Mark II
- Require an Advanced Chemical Reactive Unit crafted by a domestics trader (chef)
- Has two Chemical Reactive Units from a factory crate as a required sub component
